Two heads are better than one. Print - 70cm*50cm. (This image can also be viewed in the gallery.)
'Two heads are better than one' reflects Kennedy's positive thoughts throughout his cancer. There seems to be two bottles of what appears to be medicine which are held by two large red hands resembling a God like figure that emits the remedy and flows into different coloured heads; what is interesting is that Kennedy's different medicines seems to be the same in colour and appear to leave the head in a trail of happy thoughts. The faces are surrounded in what appears to be a city of houses and expressions, were these faces the ones of surrounding loved ones? Both of the dominant faces have question marks in their eyes referring to death or endurance.

Eyes Adrift
Eyes Adrift - Print - 70cm*50cm. (This image can also be viewed in the gallery.)
'Eyes Adrift' was painted before Kennedy was diagnosed with his tumour. The dark matter surrounding the head is very interesting as it is channelled into the brain, was this a sign Kennedy knew bad matter was pouring in? The eyes on the lady look concerned but unaware of what is happening around her. Kennedy's infatuation with a parallel universe is apparent all over this painting. The roads are presenting routes to take within another world and strange clocks with the wrong numbers all fall into a trap of dreamlike images. Kennedy showed detail and imagination like no other.

Abort Rape babies?
Abort Rape Babies - Print - 70cm*50cm (This image can also be viewed in the gallery.)
Kennedy explores life in this painting through what appears to be in vain of a map. The hand behind the person is guiding him through the trails of existence. It is like his life is in someone else's hand. The roads are the paths that we take throughout our lives which seem to be dominated by the left hand side of the boy, the same side as Kennedy's tumour. The brain looks like it has been drawn in to the red danger zone of the map clinging to the top of his head. Kennedy's views are shown throughout, the text Abort Rape Babies co insides with Kennedy's ethical opinions surrounding his world. Kennedy's sense of humour is shown in little snippets 'made a mess don't care,' 'when and why do pants get wet.' His personality is surrounding his fate.

You will never know
You Will Never Know
You Will Never Know were produced early on when Kennedy was well. It is amongst one of the busiest paintings that Kennedy produced, showing his active imagination. Political personal views through to funny antidotes can be seen in this painting. What is interesting is that a road divides down the center part of the painting one side being dark and gloomy and the other side bright and happy; this could have been reflective of Kennedy's mood. The painting explores life, the paths that you may take and the people that can influence you. Again there is a clear division of happiness and the indefinite being portrayed through an eerie back drop. Kennedy was clearly influenced by the unknown.
